Um.

And you want to make this into a series? Maybe if it had, oh I don't know... a storyline. Substance. Dialogue. Something that is in the least bit INTERESTING?!?! I watched the entire thing, thinking that perhaps the music video was just the intro or something. Try again.

Graphics are its strength

The character drawings and animations are the strength of this (and the first one). The story is so fragmented and haphazard. It's so hard to follow and there is so much unnecessary information presented, the story doesn't really make me want to watch any more of these, to be honest with you.

However, there are no review points for storyline, so based on its looks alone I gave it a high score.

Just like...

The style on this was great, but it was almost exactly like the Valentine's Day cartoon by David Firth. I'm not sure if you meant it to be that way, but it really was.

Holmen responds:

it was inspiered by that one. that is correct.

Friggin great...

Man, that was awesome. The beginning at least looked like a GOOD stick animation, but I was extremely happy with the ending. Right on, man. Couldn't agree more!

boxpilot responds:

These comments just keep getting better! Thanks!

Meh...

Weapons of Angles? I thought this was going to be about math. This was basically a mix of unoriginal ideas from Star Wars/Madness/Sword in the Stone. I've seen it all before, which is why, though the graphics were at least halfway decent, I gave it a 2/5, a.k.a. "Nothing too new or interesting."

Also, throwing down the synopsis in writing at the beginning was a pretty lame thing to do. The reason you're making a cartoon about a particular story is because you're trying to tell that story graphically. Putting a huge paragraph at the beginning is a cop-out; if you're going to do that you should be writing books, not doing Flash animations.

Overall, this was not bad enough to BLAM, but not good enough for me to care more than to point out its flaws.

Rip-off...

This was a total rip-off of Tomorrow's Nobodies, except with poor drawing and lame jokes. A group of guys involved in "hilarious" hijinks and wacky adventures? Seen it.

darklordofpenguins responds:

Tomorrow's Nobodies, no matter how awesome, did not originally create the concept of group humour. Lemme think, on newgrounds alone there is, The Decline series, TN, Waterman, to name a few that use that are "A group of guys invovled in "hilarious" hijinks and wacky adventures". get off my back.

Very impressive in most aspects, but...

Very anime-esque, which may or may not be a good thing. The story and some of the dialogue was a little cliche, but this was overall an impressive piece. Lip-syncing was off in several places, and you even spelled the title of your own animation incorrectly during the closing credits. "RENGADES"...Of course, the frame-by-frame animation was killer and the fight scenes were nice, although it makes no sense for blood to splash out of someone's face when they get punched in the stomach. Just a little more attention to detail and future chapters of this will be right on. Good job.

what the...

That was f'd up.

Freak...tacular

Wow that was insane. It had no real point but it was crazy to watch, and so well animated, so completely original, and so random that it kept my attention. I would imagine that this would probably be something good to watch while you're trippin', if you're into that sort of thing.

nostalgia at its finest...

man, that was great! it has inspired me to fire up the old emulator and go back to the time of the NES. nice job all around, funny too!
